About Us

We are drystone wallers, building and rebuilding walls by hand the way it has always been done. To us a dry stone wall is more than a boundary: built stone on stone with no mortar, it stands and weathers for generations. That is what our work is about.

We build each wall to stand. The stone, the batter and the setting all matter. We look at the site and build what suits it, honestly and without fuss.

We work by hand. Sorting the stone, setting the footings, building to a fair batter, hearting and locking, setting the copes, step by step, by eye. It is heavy, careful work, and that is where the difference from a mortared wall lies.
